I've been having alot of problems with Giganews for the past week and a half to two weeks. The problems have been with speed mostly. I cant seem to get a constant speed of 10MB/s at all now, it fluctuates down to 4MB/s, then goes back up again and then slows down again.
Obviously using 10 connections you can achieve a total speed of around 3Mbit but this is still dire compared to what I was getting which was mostly around 8Mbit. I had done Giganews speed test I've just installed nzb'o'matic on my windows xp netbook, and signed up for a 10gb a month giganews account. I had previously used this a couple of months ago, and got regular, uninterupted speeds of 800/900kbps. Giganews downloads always slow matter the filetype and filesize. Just switched from Giganews to Supernews as my main unlimited provider, and unless my block accounts are downloading the files the speeds are SLOW! 500KB/s slow when Giganews was not. Been tweaking the number of connections on the US/EU servers, but nothing seems to max out my connection to the usual 18-19MB/second. Giganews slow today.
